Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- Confirm that the manuscript has been submitted solely to this journal and is not published, in press, or submitted elsewhere. (Including conference proceedings where the work has been copyrighted).
- Confirm that all of the research meets the ethical guidelines of your institution or company, as well as adherence to the legal requirements of the study country.
- Confirm that you have prepared a complete text within the anonymous article file. Any identifying information has been included separately in a title page, acknowledgements or supplementary file not for review, to allow anonymous review.
- Confirm that the manuscript has been created by the author(s) and not an AI tool/Large Language Model (LLM). If an AI tool/LLM has been used to develop or generate any portion of the manuscript then this must be clearly flagged in the Methods and Acknowledgements.
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word (docx) using UJBATM's template file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- Are you aware of any potential conflict of interest in the research or with the journal/editorial team handling this submission? If yes, please confirm that any potential conflict of interest has been declared in your research.
- Did the research contained in your article involve human participants? If yes, please provide evidence of the ethics review board clearance. Please ensure you also include a statement about this in your article.
- Does this work contain research about an identifiable company/individual/organization? Did the author(s) spend time within the company/organization? Does the work contain internal financial or sensitive information or quotations from named employees? If yes to any of the above, please upload a completed Consent to Publish form (download from the link at the top of this page) at the file upload step. UJBATM is unable to consider work for publication where consent to publish is required but clearance has not been obtained.
